Canapés are bite size snacks as appetizers. Bases of different shapes of bread slice (rounds, squares, triangles or flowers, as such or toasted or fried) biscuits, crackers or even vegetables slices ( like cucumber or carrot) are topped with a dressing in which are mixed varied ingredients. 

Canapés are well garnished so they look colorful and inviting. here are a few suggestions. For example, mix together thousands Island spread, chicken shreds and spring onions. Spread on fried bread base. Garnish with Maggi Tomato Ketchup and coriander leaf.

Cucumber boats :
Peel cucumber. Cut off a thin slice along the length so as to expose the core of seeds. Scoop out the core. Fill with Ricotta Cheese spread. Cut into 3/4 "-1" slices. Garnish each with carrot flowers.
