Trifle Pudding

You Need
Milkmaid
Milk
Strawberry jelly
Sponge cake
Cream
Chopped mixed seasonal fruit

: 1 cup
: 1 packet
: 1/2 kg
: 1 cup   
: 3 cups


Preparation
  • Prepare jelly as per instructions on the pack and leave to set .

  • Cut sponge cake in to small pieces and place at the bottom of a glass serving dish .

  • Mix together Milkmaid and milk . Pour over the sponge cake .

  • Spread chopped fruit on the cake .

  • Spread chopped fruit on the cake .

  • Chop set jelly and pour on top of the fruit .

  • Top with whipped cream and serve chilled .

Quick Tip
Instead of sponge cake , ordinary cake rusks may be used .
Fresh fruit , whenever mentioned may be substituted with canned sliced fruit if available .
