: 1 cup (150 ml)
: 1 1/3 cups (200 ml)

Preparation
  • Grind together all the ingredients for the masala .

  • Cook the cleaned prawns in a little vinegar , 1 cup water and some salt . Drain .

  • Fry the prawns in oil . Keep aside .

  • Saute ginger , garlic and green chillies separately . Keep aside .

  • Splutter methi seeds and curry leaves in remaining oil . Add fried ginger , garlic , green chillies , mustard seeds and the ground masala .

  • Add prawns , vinegar and salt to taste . Boil for 5 mins .

  • Cool and store in a jar .
