Fried Prawn Balls
 
500 g(1 lb) prawns
3 water chestnuts
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cornflour
Small teaspoon sherry 1 egg white
 


Preparation
  • Shell prawns and chop with the water chestnuts and ginger, until consistency is like mince. Add salt, cornflour, sherry and egg white. Mix well and shape into small balls.

  • Deep fry in oil until golden brown.

  • Serve hot.
