Guavas In Lime Juice
Juice of 1-2 limes
2-3 tbsp sugar, or to taste
4 guavas

  • Mix the lime juice and sugar in a bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves.

  • Peel each guava, cutting it in half, scooping out the soft centre with seeds and reserve it, then slice the rest and turn it over in the lime juice to coat it well. Chill.

  • Press the centers through a nylon sieve to remove the pulp from pips. Add the pulp to the bowl.

  • Taste, and adjust the flavoring. Serve chilled.
